Wheel hub bearings are one of the key components of automobiles, and their main function is to carry weight and provide precise guidance for the rotation of the wheel hub. This requires them to not only withstand axial loads but also radial loads. The traditional bearings for automotive wheels are composed of two sets of tapered roller bearings or ball bearings, and the installation, oiling, sealing, and clearance adjustment of the bearings are all carried out on the automotive production line. It has been widely used in cars and is gradually expanding its application in heavy-duty vehicles.
Due to the close proximity of wheel hub bearings to the ground and high-temperature brake discs and other components, they need to adapt to various complex road conditions and harsh driving environments. Therefore, the bearing sealing ring must have good grease leakage resistance, as well as good heat resistance, mud and sewage resistance.
